This is one of my family's favorites! It is a softer version of the Anzac Biscuit! So easy to throw together and bake! Also perfect for school lunch box (without the nuts)!


  • 1 cup Self raising Flour
  • 1 cup Shredded coconut
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup crushed mixed nuts (optional)
  • 125g Butter, melted
  • 100ml Golden syrup
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup sugar

Step 1

Turn oven on to 160°C fan forced. Mix all ingredients together

Step 2

Press mixture evenly into pan

Step 3

Cook for 20 mins (until slightly browned)

Step 4

Remove from oven. It will be soft so allow cooling time before removing from pan and slicing up into serves.

Easy as recipe, but I forgot to add the 1 cup of sugar into the ingredients as well!
