A quick and easy meal the whole family will love!


  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 4 rashers bacon rind removed and chopped
  • 6-8 medium Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup cream or lite evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 2 packets fresh veal tortellini or spinach and ricotta
  • 1 cup grated tasty or parmesan cheese

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180°C .

Step 2

Heat Saute Pan over medium heat for 3 minutes.

Step 3

Add oil, onion, garlic and bacon. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Step 4

Add the mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Pour in mushroom soup, water and cream. Stir until heated through.

Step 6

Add parsley and pasta. Stir well and bring to boil. Sprinkle with cheese and place in hot oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese melts and bubbles.

Chef's Tips

Serve with a green salad.
