A Simple recipe that is comfortind and delectable served warm


  • 2 Cups Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Cup icing sugar
  • 140gms Plain flour
  • 225 gms Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla essence

Step 1

Place the chocolate chips and butter in silicone bowl. Microwave at 30 sec intervals and mix until melted through

Step 2

Add sugar and flour into mixture. After stirring with a spoon, blend with a whisk.

Step 3

Add eggs and vanilla into chocolate mixture. mix until well blended.

Step 4

Add 2 cups of boiling water to pressure cooker

Step 5

Fill Silicone 1 cup muffins ¾ full.

Step 6

Place cake moulds on rack in the pressure cooker in two layers

Step 7

Close and lock lid on pressure cooker

Step 8

Bring to pressure and once button pops up turn down to low and cook for 7 minutes

Step 9

Remove from heat and use the natural release method waiting until button has dropped and the lid is safe to unlock.

Step 10

Remove the cakes from the pressure cooker and invert onto serving plates, squeezing lightly to release

Step 11

Serve while hot with ice-cream or cream and ENJOY!



2 cups of boiling water isn’t sufficient. I think it needs 3-4.


Mouthful of delicious , chocolaty lava cake and you are in heaven.
