Bring some Greek flavours into your home with this family favourite! This recipe can be adapted to make Lamb burgers- yum!


  • 500 grams Lamb mince
  • 1 tsp Garlic, minced
  • 1 bunch fresh mint leaves, shredded
  • 1/2 small red onion - finely diced
  • 1 cup natural or Greek yoghurt
  • 1 Lemon (zest and 1/2 juice)

Step 1

Combine mince, garlic, onion and mint and roll into small sausages (around 7cm x 3cm) Makes around 11-12 koftas

Step 2

Fry on medium heat in griddle pan for around 10mins turning frequently

Step 3

In the meantime make yoghurt dressing: Combine yoghurt, the zest of 1 lemon and 1/2 the juice and more mint. Stir well and serve yoghurt dressing over Koftas and salad

Chef's Tips

Serve with Greek salad: Rocket, feta, cherry tomatoes, red onion and olives
