So simple and easy to make


  • 250g Butter
  • 3 Cups sugar
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 1 teaspoon Bicarbonate of soda
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa
  • 4 Eggs
  • 3 cups Self raising Flour

Step 1

1. Place all all ingredients, except for eggs and flour in the saute pan and stir over medium heat until boiling. Boil for 1 minute (be careful not to over boil - it happens quickly. 2. set mixture aside and allow to cool so eggs do not curdle when added 3. Beat eggs and sift self raising flour 4. Add eggs and flour to the cool chocolate mixture and mix well 5. Place lid on saute pan and cook over low heat for 35 - 40 mins 6. When cool ice with chocolate icing 7. Serve with a dollop of cream 8. Enjoy
