Ingredients

  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 1 cup Water

Step 1

Rinse the rice once, until the water runs clear without any milkiness. Drain.

Step 2

Place the rice in the pot with the water.

Step 3

Bring the rice to a boil, uncovered.

Step 4

Turn the heat down to the lowest setting. Cover and simmer until the rice is cooked through (about 15 minutes).

Step 5

Remove the rice from the heat and allow to sit, covered, for 5 minutes.

Step 6

Fluff the rice gently with a spoon before serving.
