this is an easy recipe and it tastes sensational


  • 5 medium large mangoes, peeled and chopped
  • 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled cut into 1cm cubes
  • 1 red onion cut into wedges
  • 1/2 cup sultanas
  • 2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1/4 cup preserved ginger
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/8 tsp Chilli powder
  • 2 tsp Salt

Step 1

with chopping blade in, load onion and garlic. Speed 8, 10 seconds

Step 2

change to stir assist

Step 3

add all other ingredients and select Stew P2

Step 4

allow hot mix to settle for 2 - 3 minutes before decanting into sterilised jars.

Step 5

makes about 2 litres

Chef's Tips

for more kick add more chilli powder or chilli flakes if you like. I am sure that fresh chilli could be used but not being a chilli lover can't guarantee the results
