I Love the fact there isn't any creaming butter and sugar, you put it all in the pot to combine ingredients and then put in the oven, if you want to make an extra big cake double the recipe and use the Saute' pan

  • 250ml Water
  • 1-1/2 cups Caster sugar
  • 1/4 Cup cocoa powder
  • 2 Egg, lightly beaten
  • 1-1/2 Cups Self raising Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 1/3 cup cream
  • 250 grams Chocolate, preferably dark. Chopped

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180 degrees In 2ltr Saucepan place Water, Sugar, Cocoa and Bicarb and bring to boil

Step 2

allow to cool slightly

Step 3

add eggs , mix thoroughly

Step 4

add flour, vanilla and combine

Step 5

Pour into your Siicon round cake pan and cook for approx 35-40 minutes, once cooked leave in pan for 5 minutes, then turn onto cooling racks, once cool ice with your favourite icing

Ganache Icing add cream and chocolate into pot and melt all together, once this is done, pour over cake ENJOY
