Moroccan Minted Beef.

This is a deliciously quick and easy meal the whole family will love. And it's great served cold in a salad with couscous, cucumber and spinach.


  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 medium brown onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp Meal Inspirations Moroccan blend
  • 425g can of chopped tomatoes
  • 750g beef, cut into strips
  • 2 Tbsp roasted slivered almonds
  • 2 tsp fresh mint leaves, shredded

Step 1

Heat oil in pan, cook beef strips in batches until browned all over and then set aside to rest.

Step 2

Add onion to pan, stirring until soft.

Step 3

Add Moroccan Spice Blend to pan and cook stirring for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Step 4

Stir in undrained tomatoes, brig to boil and then simmer, stirring occassionally, for about 5 minutes or until mixture has thickened slightly.

Step 5

Add cooked beef strips, almonds and mint.

Step 6

Stir though & serve.

Chef's Tips

Serve with crusty bread, rice or couscous. Also great served in a cold salad with couscous. Cucumber & spinach.
