Upgrade your cake pops to something special

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup self-raising flour
  • 1/4 cup coca
  • 1/2 cup Castor sugar
  • 75g Butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 1 tsp red food colouring

Step 1

Preheat oven to 160°C. (150°C fan forced). Grease or spray Cake Pop Moulds for best results. Place on Cookie Tray.

Step 2

Mix all ingredients in Silicone Bowl, and pour mixture into Cake Pop Moulds (bottom half only) – fill to rim of holes. Put top on. Drop them a few times lightly onto the Tray to release air bubbles and distribute mixture evenly in moulds.

Step 3

Bake for 8 mins.

Step 4

Remove from oven and let cool completely. To remove, peel off top slowly, then pop the balls out by pushing them out of mould from bottom.

Step 5

Decorate as desired.

Chef's Tips

To make cake pops, hold onto the stick, dip end of stick in melted chocolate, insert stick 3/4 of the way into the cake pop, refrigerate for 5 mins before decorating.
