Enjoy a warm piece of sliced potato bread freshly made from your stove-top!
Sift together flour, salt and paprika
Grate potato into flour mixture, mix well.
Add shallots, thyme and the cheese. Stir well to combine.
Whisk egg and milk together and pour into flour mixture. Stir gently to combine.
Butter Saute Pan base and spread dough over the base.
Sprinkle lightly with extra flour and thyme.
Cover the pan, leaving the steam vents open, and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
Turn dough over and continue to cook for a further 15-20 minutes or golden brown.
Cheddar cheese can also be used. Substitute Thyme for fresh chives or rosemary.
