Every sunday in our house is pancake sunday! I love this recipe, it is easy and so delicious. The pancakes are so light and fluffy.


  • 2 cups SR flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • pinch Salt
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 & 1/2 cups Milk
  • 1/3 cup sugar (optional)
  • 75g Butter, melted

Step 1

Sift the 2 cups of flour with the 3 teaspoons of baking powder and the pinch of salt into a bowl and set aside. Mix all of the wet ingredients together. Mix the 2 beaten eggs, 1 & 1/2 cups of milk, 1/3 cup of sugar and the 75g of melted butter. Mix into the dry ingredients. Sizzle some extra butter in a non stick frying pan, and scoop one ladle of pancake mix into the pan. Flip once bubbles have appeared and they are golden. Serve with your favourite toppings.

Chef's Tips

You can make these savory pancakes by taking out the sugar and putting your favourite spread on it like vegemite. Left overs can be popped in a lunch box or eaten as a quick snack. One of our favourite combos is fresh banana, strawberries, maple syrup and fresh cream! Yum. Great for breakfast or a sweet dessert.
