Hits the spot as a meat-free meal, or a side curry.


  • 1 Red onion, peeled and quartered
  • 2 cloves Garlic, peeled
  • 2cm Fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1 1/2 Tbsn Meal Inspirations Curry Blend
  • 1 cup Dried yellow lentils, rinsed
  • 400g tin Tomatoes
  • 400g tim Chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 Potato, scrubbed and diced
  • 1 Lime, quartered

Step 1

Insert the MultiBlade. Add onion, garlic and ginger. QuickPulse 5 sec. Scrape down.

Step 2

Replace MultiBlade with Stir Assist. Add dash of olive oil. FRY P3. Start.

Step 3

Cancel out of FRY program. Add the spice blend, lentils, tomatoes, chickpeas, potato, S&P and 1 litre of water (or stock). Temp 85C, Time 40min, Speed Int. Start.

Step 4

Squeeze lime over and serve.
