Delicious savory muffins that even the kids will love!


  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 rashers bacon finely chopped
  • 150g self-raising flour
  • 125g grated tasty cheese
  • 300g Zucchini, grated
  • 4 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1/2 tsp sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp French mustard

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Step 2

Cook the onions in the oil over a medium heat in the frypan until softened but not brown.

Step 3

Add the bacon and cook for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and transfer to a bowl.

Step 4

Add remaining ingredients. Stir well to combine.

Step 5

Place Muffin Tray onto a baking tray or cooling rack.

Step 6

Divide the mixture evenly between the 12 muffin cups.

Step 7

Cook for 15 minutes or until puffed & golden brown.

Step 8

Serve warm or cold.

Chef's Tips

Serve topped with sour cream and sun-dried tomatoes.
